Andrea Bacigalupo is an appraiser and an artist. She sees her appraisal practice as an extension of her studio art practice, where art and architecture are closely related. Her enthusiasm for the different architectural styles represented throughout the Bay Area keeps her deeply interested in the field of appraising. She appreciates that there are few better places than this region with its legacy of outstanding residential architecture, old and new. Andrea is drawn to the unique interdisciplinary nature of appraising which ranges from city planning and zoning to land use, structural engineering, and local real estate markets. She enjoys meeting and serving clients from all walks of life.
An appraiser for more than 20 years, Andrea started appraising by doing drive-by field reviews for a small residential firm in Pleasanton. For five consecutive years she logged more than 70,000 miles a year on her car. Now, she is delighted to be a part of the Yovino-Young team. She is a long-time Bay Area resident and a California native.
Andrea works in her art studio when she is not appraising, and also supports the multiple musical adventures of her husband and two teenage sons.
